Welcome to the premiere of Bombina Bombast's new show Build-Your-Own-Frigrupp and to the opening of a pop-up shop at Triangeln's shopping center. Here you can build your own independent group in Lego, but the pieces are few, a little worn, and seem to be getting fewer and fewer. Bombina Bombast's artistic director Emma Bexell gave herself the task of mapping the independent performing arts life in the city and then building it with square plastic blocks. It went just kind of ok, but maybe it's not the final product that count. In a cultural climate that increasingly favours effective storytelling and quantifiable results, playing with Lego attempts to underline the conflict between soft ideas and hard bricks to instead find the playful in the political and vice versa.
